Oatmeal Cake

- 1 c. oatmeal
- 1 1/2 c. water (boiling)
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
步骤
1. Mix oatmeal and boiling water together.
2. Let stand, covered, 20 minutes.
3. Stir once in between.
4. Sift together flour, soda, powder, salt and cinnamon.
5. In large bowl, combine oatmeal mixture and shortening.
6. Beat until blended.
7. Stir in brown sugar, sugar and eggs, blending thoroughly.
8. Add dry ingredients and blend well. Bake at 350°.
