- 5 c. flour
- 1 lb. or 2 c. lard
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- ice water

1. Crumble ingredients with pie blender. Beat 1 egg in cup and finish filling cup with ice water.
2. Mix all together.
3. Roll into crust.
4. Makes 2 (2-crust) pies or 4 single or 8 apple dumplings. Crust freezes well.
