- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add egg.
3. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add to creamed mixture.
4. Add vanilla.
5. Chill dough 1 hour.
