Luscious Butterscotch Yams

- 6 medium yams
- 1/2 c. Karo corn syrup
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

6. (may substitute with 2 cans, 17 ounces each).
7. Place in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake
8. in 325° oven for 15 minutes.
9. In saucepan, mix remaining ingredients. May

11. dark or light brown sugar and pack 1/2 cup.
12. Stir constantly.
13. Bring to

16. boil 5 minutes. Pour over yams. Bake, basting often, 15 minutes more.
17. Serves 6.
