- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 sticks margarine (soft)
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. (12 oz.) white chocolate chips or white chocolate that was a solid piece and broken into small chunks
- 1 c. chopped pecans

1. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
2. Set aside.
3. In mixer bowl, cream margarine and both sugars until smooth, about 3 minutes.
4. Add vanilla and eggs.
5. Beat until light and fluffy.
6. Add flour mixture.
7. Hand-stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
8. Blend well.
