Spice Jam Cake

Ингредиенты
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or Crisco
- 1 egg
- 1 c. jam or jelly
- 1 c. milk
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cloves or allspice
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. nut meats
- 1 1/2 c. raisins, if desired
Инструкции
1. Cream sugar and shortening until creamy; add beaten egg.
2. Add jam or jelly and mix well.
3. Sift flour, baking powder, soda, spices and salt three times.
4. Add flour alternately with milk and vanilla.
5. Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 1 hour.
