1. Preheat oven to 300°.
2. Cream butter and sugar.
3. Add egg yolks one at a time and mix well.
4. Sift flour before and sift again with soda.
5. Add flour and sour cream alternately.
6. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold gently into cake batter.
7. Grease and sugar tube pan.
8. Bake 1 1/2 hours.
9. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
