- 1 1/2 c. Wesson or Crisco oil
- 3 c. plain flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla or 1 tsp. black walnut flavoring
- 1 c. chopped black walnuts
- 1 c. white raisins (optional)

3. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
