Cheeseburger Pie

- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
- 8 slices processed American cheese
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/3 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- chopped tomato
- shredded lettuce (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 425°.
2. Bake pie shell 8 minutes.
3. Remove from oven.
4. Reduce oven to 350°.
5. Cut 6 slices cheese into pieces.
6. In large skillet, brown meat; pour off fat.
7. Add tomato sauce, pepper, onion and bouillon.
8. Cook and stir until bouillon dissolves.
9. Remove from heat; stir in eggs, flour and cheese pieces.
10. Turn into prepared shell.
11. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Arrange remaining cheese slices on top.
12. Return to oven for 3 minutes.
13. Garnish with tomato and lettuce, if desired.
