Fresh Pear Cake

Zutaten
- 4 c. pears, grated
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Anleitung
1. Mix pears with sugar and nuts.
2. Let stand 1 hour, stirring often.
3. (Frozen pears may be used for fresh ones.)
4. Add dry ingredients to pears; add oil, vanilla and egg.
5. Mix by hand, mixture is very thick.
6. Pour into tube pan and bake about 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
