Aunt Eva'S Old Fashion Peach Shortcake

Zutaten
- 2 c. flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. melted margarine
- 1 egg
- milk
- sliced, sweetened peaches (use fresh or frozen peaches)
Anleitung
1. Sift first 3 ingredients.
2. In a measuring cup, put melted margarine and egg, then finish filling to 1 cup with milk.
3. Add to flour mixture and beat well.
4. Put into greased and floured 9-inch cake pan.
5. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
6. Cool.
7. Split in half and put peaches between and on top of shortcake.
8. Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip.
9. Makes a beautiful dish and it is delicious.
