Prune Cake With Butterscotch Glaze

- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. allspice
- 1 Tbsp. nutmeg
- 1 1/2 c. coarsely cut, cooked, pitted and drained prunes
- 1 c. corn oil
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. chopped nut meats

1. Sift flour and other dry ingredients; set aside.
2. Beat oil and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
3. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well. Stir in vanilla.
4. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
5. Stir in prunes and nuts.
6. Pour into 9-inch tube pan with removable bottom. Bake in 350° oven about one hour.
