Surprise Meat Loaf

Ингредиенты
- 1 c. applesauce
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. coarse bread crumbs
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, cubed
Инструкции
1. Combine applesauce, salt, nutmeg and pepper.
2. Add ground beef, bread crumbs, chopped onion and egg; mix thoroughly.
3. Fold cheese into meat mixture.
4. Mold into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and bake at 350° for 75 minutes.
5. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
