Turtle Cake

- 1 box German chocolate cake mix (Duncan Hines)
- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
- 3/4 c. oleo
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk (Carnation)
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. pecans

Instrucciones
1. Mix cake mix as instructed on box.
2. Pour 1/2 of batter in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch sheet cake pan.
3. Bake 15 minutes at 350°.
4. Melt caramels, oleo and evaporated milk in a double boiler.
5. Pour over warm cake.
6. Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over cake.
7. Pour remaining cake mix over top of chips and nuts. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
8. Cool and serve with whipped cream.
