Cowboy Coffee Cake

Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 beaten egg
Instrucciones
1. Mix flour, sugar, salt and shortening until crumbly; take out 1/4 cup.
2. To remaining crumbs, add baking powder, soda and spices; mix well.
3. Pour into one greased and floured 8 x 1 1/2-inch round pan; top with reserved crumbs.
4. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes.
5. Serve warm.
6. Makes one cake.
