Uncle Charlie'S Drunkard'S Stew

Zutaten
- 1 1/2 lb. stew beef cubes
- bacon drippings or vegetable oil
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can water
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut in chunks
- 3 to 4 carrots, cleaned and cut in chunks
- 3 onions, peeled and cut in chunks
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. sherry (regular)
Anleitung
1. Brown meat in drippings or oil.
2. Add remaining ingredients. Cook in oven at 350° for 2 to 3 hours or at 275° for 5 hours.
3. Use the regular sherry, not cooking sherry, due to salt content.
