Hot Dogs With Fried Rice And Tomatoes

- 2 Tbsp. butter or bacon fat
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 4 cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 12 grilled hot dogs
التعليمات
1. Melt butter or bacon fat.
2. Add rice and saute until yellow. Add onion and cook 2 minutes.
3. Add tomatoes, seasonings and herbs. Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes until rice is tender.
4. Arrange hot grilled hot dogs on hot platter and pour rice and tomato mixture around them.
5. Yields 6 servings.
