Grand Union Bacon
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3 drops Tabasco sauce
- Bacon strips (very thin and lean)
- Very fine cracker crumbs or dust
- Butter
Instructions
1. Beat the egg with the Tabasco sauce.
2. Dip bacon in the egg mixture, and roll in cracker dust.
3. Add butter to a frying pan over medium heat. When pan is well heated, add the bacon. Fry until golden brown.
4. Flip bacon over, cook the other side, and serve on a napkin.
