Taco Squares

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1.25 oz. pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 16 oz. can refried beans
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 2 cans crescent dinner rolls
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/3 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. (4 oz.) grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese

1. Preheat oven to 375°.
2. Brown meat and onions in a skillet, drain grease, if necessary.
3. Stir in the taco seasoning mix, beans and tomato sauce.
4. Simmer 5 minutes.
5. Unroll dough into 4 long rectangles.
6. Place in ungreased 15 x 10-inch jellyroll pan.
7. Press over bottom and 1 inch up sides to form crust.
8. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven until cheese is melted, about 2 to 3 minutes.
10. Cut into squares and top with chopped lettuce, tomatoes, taco sauce, sour cream, etc.
