- 12 c. coarsely ground yellow squash
- 4 c. coarsely ground onion
- 2 green sweet peppers
- 2 red sweet peppers
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 6 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 Tbsp. turmeric

1. Mix in a large pot the salt, sugar, vinegar, celery seed, dry mustard, pepper and turmeric.
2. Add squash, peppers and onions. Cook 20 minutes after coming to a full boil.
3. Place into hot sterilized jars with 2-piece lids and seal.
4. Yield: 3 quarts.
