Applesauce Pecan Bread

- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned applesauce
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cup flour
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup mixed candied fruit, if desired
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans

1. Beat eggs until foamy, stir in applesauce, sugar, oil and milk.
2. Gradually add
3. dry ingredients, stir in nuts and candied fruit.
4. Spread in greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan.
5. Sprinkle on top cinnamon, brown sugar and chopped pecans, press lightly with hand. Bake 350° for 1 hour.
6. Can sprinkle confectionary sugar to cover top last 1/2 hour if too brown.
